  • Description

    Location unknown.

Various shots of the navy cadets from training ship 'Exmouth' with turtles in their hands ready for the turtle race. They put turtles on the white line to start the race. Turtles are not keen on racing, it seems, they just look around trying to see where they are. Boys try to encourage them with lettuce but does not seem to work.

Note: Training ship 'Exmouth' was stationed off Grays, Essex in the 1937, it may be that it was its home since the ship was presented with new colours there.
