    Tom Mann Re-embarking for South Africa - date unknown but probably early 1920s.

    Location of events unknown - Southampton?

    M/S of Tom Mann; Trade Unionist and Socialist, walking up ramp and boarding ship. CU group of people; Mann with a lady; and several men on ship's deck. CU group of men posing; Mann in FG removes cap; points to cam; etc.

    M/S of Mann shaking hands like a politician with men passing by; rigging in BG. CU Mann waving from deck. CU more handshaking.

    Travel; boats and ships; labour unions.

    Note: Tom Mann visited South Africa in 1914 and 1922. In 1914 9 TU leaders were deported from South Africa - could be connected to this footage.
