Full titles read: "To glide the Atlantic? - Queer looking craft launched on the banks of the Seine."

    Paris, France.

M/S of a small group of men and women standing on part of a new ship; one woman breaks a bottle of champagne over the ship to launch it. M/S of the ship moving into the water of the River Seine; it has 'floaters' either side of the main ship, a bit like a seaplane. Several shots of the craft on the river. It is then tethered at the quayside while a huge crowd of men (dockside workers, probably) watch.
