  • Description

Football match between English and Scottish leagues Glasgow, (looks like Hampden Park) Scotland.

Full titles read: "THISTLE BEATS THE ROSE - for first time since 1914... 2-1 ! Enormous crowds see thrilling football duel between "Teams of all the talents" from Scottish and English Leagues."

L/S's of Scottish and English teams running on to the pitch from the tunnel. Large crowds of people stand in overcoats, caps and scarves (it looks very cold) on the terraces. L/S of the two team captains standing in the centre circle with the referee. They shake hands and toss a coin to decide kick-off. Various shots of the match in progress. Scotland, in the dark shirts (?) seem to be having the better chances against England.
