M/S of Mr and Mrs Dionne. Dr Dafoe, who delivered the five babies, goes into the house and puts on a gown and mask to prevent bringing germs into the nursery. Natural sound as he picks up each baby and talks to it. He passes each one to a nurse (or Mrs Dionne?) and she puts them on a table and covers their bodies with a blanket. Several shots of the babies. From left to right, they are Yvonne, Annette, Cecille, Marie and Emilie (sp?).
The babies are cleaned all over with olive oil then weighed. One baby has her nappy changed. Dr Dafoe poses with a baby in each arm. Their parents, also in protective gowns, look on. The babies are put back in their incubator before being fed. A nurse prepares their "human milk brought from Toronto and Montreal hospitals". Mr and Mrs Dionne peer inside the incubator at their children.
