    The Throckmorton coat (modern version). Pitlochry, Perthshire. Scotland.

    MS Mr Blair Macnaughton and girl with clock. MS sheep being sheared by Ian and Leslie McLaren.

    Various shots as we follow the fibre through the following processes: wool breaking washing, dyeing and drying, teasing, carding, spinning, warping, weaving and winding, washing and milling, cutting and machining.

    LS as the completed coat is carried in, preceded by a piper, and Blair Macnaughton puts the coat on and shakes hands with another man, onlookers applaud.
