    Lovely shots of the "Empress of Britain" - absolutely beautifully filmed. Various angles emphasise the size and beauty of the liner. A narrator states "from every angle the impression is one of power and beauty".

    The ship has an exterior overhaul after each voyage. Various shots of men cleaning and painting the ship. L/S of the ship then a moving shot showing men painting the side of the ship. They are seated on planks suspended over the side of the ship on large ropes. M/S of the men painting the side of the ship - moving shot from another boat.
