LS "The King's House" residence of the governor of Jamaica. Statue of Queen Victoria in Kingston. Parade of troops in the main street followed by the Queen to cheering crowds. Military bands play and parade as the Queen meet dignitaries. Shots of groups of school children as Queen drives around large cricket ground and vast numbers of people look on and wave and cheer. Kingston harbour with sailing boats and the S.S. Gothic at anchor, rich westerners watch from their boats. Gothic arrives at the Panama Canal, and the Queen is greeted by U.S.A. Military. She is "allowed" to operate the canal lock gates. Another drive through the streets to cheering crowds in the rain. The Gothic passes through the canal. Street scenes of Panama, crowds cheer away as Queen and Philip rejoin the ship. WS ship passing through the canal. Shots of exotic flowers.
