    GV. Bristol Bloodhound guided missile on ramp. CU. Pointed nose of the Bloodhound. SV. Looking along the top of the Bloodhound. The booster rockets and guide fin can be seen on the side. GV. Bloodhound on launching ramp being turned and aimed ready for firing. LV. Panning shot as the Bloodhound takes off and streaks away into sky, releasing its booster rockets. Air shot of earth revolving round as seen from Bloodhound.

    LV. De Havilland Spectre rocket engine fixed to test bed ready for trial run. SV. Cameramen wearing special ear pads because of the noise. GV. The rocket engine starts up in a cloud of smoke shooting it out violently. SV. Rocket engine ignites and flame shoots out of the back. CU. Man wearing special ear pads turns his head away. LV. Technicians looking at the engine while it is running, they walk away from it holding their hands to their ears because of the noise. LV. The speed is stepped up on engine and the flame shoots further out forming a weird pattern. SV. Flame shooting out of engine. LV. Wire fence partly blown down owing to engine tests.

    SV. Two men looking at Spectre rocket engine and seeing how it works. SCU. Man operating part of the mechanism on the engine. SV. De Havilland Super Sprite engine starts up in cloud of smoke and flame comes out of back. SV. Flame coming out of the booster. SV. After test run a technician empties fuel from Super Sprite, camera pans down to it pouring into jug.

    SV. Small guided missile on launching ramp. LV. Panning shot as the missile streaks away flying very low. SV. Missile flying towards canvas target which has a hole in it, and is suspended in the air.

    Missile flies through the hole and just clips one side with its wing. SCU. Technician following missile with radar equipment. SV. Missile streaking through target again, but not so cleanly as before.

    GV. Soldiers preparing Thunderbird guided missile for flight. SV. Soldier lifts one of the fins out of box to attach it to the missile. SV. Soldier fixes fin to missile. SCU. Sergeant Major directing operations. SCU. Soldier operating crane. SV. Booster rockets which are hanging from crane being attached to the missile. GV. The Thunderbird ready for flight being towed away to launching site. LV. Soldiers sliding the missile back on ramp for firing. CU. Soldier turning handle which aims the missile. SCU. Pointed nose of the missile swinging into position ready for firing. SV. Radar tracking equipment. GV. Thunderbird leaves its launching ramp in clouds of dust and sheets of flame. LV. Panning shot of the missile streaking up into the sky. Booster rocket falls away from it and missile continues its flight.
