SV. Towards, Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh just having stepped from car arriving to Atomic Energy Research Establishment at Harwell. Queen starts to walk and camera pans with her as she goes towards the entrance of Dido. SV. Large door is opened and the Queen steps in to Dido and walks towards camera. SCU. Group of scientists in white coats looking on. SCU. Pan as Queen walks with officials. SV. & GV. Fuel element charge unit being moved by crane. SV. Fuel element charge unit being lowered, Queen watching in background. TV. Royal party walking around with officials at base of reactor. Camera pans to show the employees watching from above. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh watching Mr Welsher operating the master slave manipulator - a new device for handling of dangerous radioactive substances in safety. CU. Hands operating claws. CU. Claws, one holding a box of matches. Another takes it from the first and starts to pull out matches. SCU. Queen and Duke looking on as Mr Welsher continues. CU.
