    Jersey, Channel Islands.

    WS. Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) arriving by launch. WS. pan as boat approaches the steps leading up to the quayside. WS. the Prince dressed in Naval uniform stepping ashore. WS. people lined up on the harbour wall the Prince accompanied by the Lieutenant Governor of the Island Major H. de C. General Martelli? he then starts an inspection of the guard of honour of the Royal Militia of Jersey. LS He then inspects the remainder of the Jersey contingent of volunteers for overseas service in the early years of the WW1 with their commander Colonel W. Stocker. WS. the Prince at the end of the line of volunteers tilt up to see crowds hanging over the rail. WS. crowds hanging over the harbour wall to watch the Prince during the inspection. WS. Guard of honour and the crowds as the Prince starts to approach his car. WS. the Prince's car driving around the harbour as it leaves to go to the Royal Court House. WS. the crowds at the harbour begin to leave. WS. Prince's car arriving outside the Royal Court House pan as he goes into the Court House. WS. crowds gathered outside the Court House. WS. street decorated with bunting as the crowds leave to make their way to the next venue. WS. Prince leaving the Court House having listened to the Loyal Address pan as the Prince enters the car and follow as the car leaves finishing with a CU of the Prince inside the car. WS. the Prince arriving at Springfield grounds where reviews a contingent of ex- service men. MS. Prince Edward on the Dais MS. the Prince leaving with Major General H. E. Willis. LS. Prince chatting as he walks between ropes. WS. a group of children all waving Union Jacks. WS. the Prince dressed in lounge suit at Victoria College inspecting a guard of honour. WS. children waving flags. MS. girls wearing school hats. WS. pan grounds of Victoria College where he is greeted by 7,000 children. MS. children waving flags. MS. the Prince walking across grounds with crowds of children behind. WS. children rushing to see the Prince. WS. pan across children waving flags. MS. small children.
