Full title reads "Corbigny - THE PRIDE OF FRENCH AIR FORCE The giant "Emeraude" crashes in snowstorm. M. Pasquier Gov.-Gen. of Indo-China, M. Chaumie, Director of Civil Aviation, among the 10 killed."

    Corbigny, France.

Air France plane taking off - very cold, lots of ice around. Men around the plane doing last checks. Various shots of the crashed plane - debris with several people looking around - probably investigators.

Note: a Pathe website user has informed us that the aircraft featured in this film is a Dewoitne D.332. This was a three-engine transport monoplane. The plane crashed on a flight from Saigon on the Morvan mountains. The aircraft was completely destroyed and everyone on board was killed.
