  • The race began on 29 April 1956, though this clip shows the end of the race on 30 April.

    Amongst the identifiable cars are;

    At 00:16 is Paola Lena in an Alfa Romeo 1900.

    At 00:22 is Harald von Saucken in a Porsche 356 Speedster.

    At 00:27 car 548 is Eugenio Castellotti, (the winner), in his Ferrari 290 MM.

    At 00:53 car 229 is an MG A driven by Peter Scott-Russell.

    At 01:16 car 227 is an MG A driven by Nancy Mitchell.

    At 01:28 car 551 is a Ferrari 860 Monza driven by Peter Collins.

    At 01:32 car 504 is a Mercedes-Benz 300SL driven by Paul von Metternich.
