  • Wonderful! The liner and yacht are designs by Norman Bel Geddes who was famous for his streamlined aesthetic. He published a book of his designs, the title escapes me, and also designed a huge model of a city of the future called Futurama for (I believe) the New York World's Fair of 1939. His actress daughter Barbara Bel Geddes attained fame many years later as Miss Ellie in Dallas!
