Various shots of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Elizabeth at Heathrow Airport. Crowds wave. Last film of King George VI, taken as he bid farewell to Philip and Elizabeth as they leave for Kenya. C/U of the King. Funeral of King Edward the VII - sailors and Grenadiers march with coffin. Prince Albert walks behind the cortege. George V gave his son a naval training. Various shots of Prince Albert on board naval vessels with his father, inspecting troops, walking amidst bomb damage etc. Aboard a yacht with his wife and father. George VI and Elizabeth stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on their wedding day with Queen Mary. Crowds wave. The royal carriage is driven through crowds. The King and his wife make royal visits to factories. Quote from Winston Churchill about how Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother) "sustained King George through all his toils and problems." Various shots of the royal couples. Inauguration of the Parliament House in Canberra, Australia. High angle L/S of a great many people standing on a playing field making the St George's flag through the colours of their outfits. Royal couple, possibly in New Zealand (looks like a visit to Rotorua with a Maori guide). Various shots of the couple arriving at unidentified locations. Crowds gather in front of Buckingham Palace to welcome the royal couple home. They stand on the balcony holding their baby daughter Elizabeth.
