"How on earth do you Eve's keep so cool?" Mr Berg was asking." L/S of Mr Berg and a woman walking towards the camera down a path in a park. "Stay just here for one minute, and I'll show you why we girls have a smile on you poor melted men -" was the reply." Mr Berg takes his hat off and pats his sweaty face with a handkerchief. His female companion looks coy and walks off. C/U of a weighing scales. A hand from behind a screen places a hat upon the scales. The arm recedes then returns with a white dress. (This is presumably his lady friend taking off her clothes piece by piece and weighing them.) Two other pieces of white clothing are placed on the scales. Next are the stockings (!) C/U of the weight registered on the scales - 12 ounces.

The woman pokes her head out from behind the screen with a broad smile on her face. L/S of her emerging - in a bathing suit. She dives into a swimming pool and swims away. Mr Berg still looks hot and bothered in his suit and hat. The lady asks Mr Berg to "look after her things" and he goes over to the scales and picks up the items one by one holding them up and looking at them. He folds one item up and puts it in his pocket. "Think I'll put this dress in my pocket book" reads an intertitle. He folds it up and puts it in his wallet. He puts the stockings in his top pocket. Intertitle reads: "And why was Adam rapidly changing into a grease spot? Because --" A man walks up to the scales and throws a man's suit on them - the scale registers 8 pounds. "And now you men know the Great Secret" C/U of the lady who is still swimming in the pool. She is still smiling, but what will she do when she gets out and finds her clothes are gone?!
