    Cumberland.

High angle L/S of the sports stadium. Various shots of men wrestling on the sports pitch as several men stand around watching with umbrellas. A large crowd watches from further back, holding umbrellas - it looks like a really miserable day. Several men take the pole vault; the first doesn't make it over the line, the next two bring the line down and the third just clears it. M/Ss of men starting off on a cross-country running race and running up a hill.
