Intertitle reads: "Poor is the town with no Park or Parade to brighten its life. In London, Eve's Mecca is Hyde Park, where wayward fashion displays its latest charms - "

Various shots of large numbers of women walking in the park, sitting on chairs listening to a band (presumably). C/U of detail on the bottom of a skirt - appliqued swirls. M/S of a dapper couple sitting on chairs and laughing. C/U of another smart couple. Woman in a fringed shawl and ostrich feather hat turns and smiles at the camera. M/Ss of various well dressed women, friends sitting together and chatting. End intertitles read: ""By the way, Ladies, have you sent in your suggested alternative title for "Eve's Film Review"? "Don't forget, £50 is offered - so send in entries (unlimited) to Pathe's Wardour Street, London, now. Last date August 4th."

Note: It seems to me that the women featured in this item are ordinary members of the public rather than models.

See: "Eve's Film Review Alternative Title Competition Result."

Two safety prints exist - check for best quality. Original decomposed and destroyed.

Animals are often the forgotten army of World War I. They displayed unwavering courage even when exposed to extreme conditions. British Pathé pay tribute to these forgotten warriors.
