    Introductory intertitle reads: "Ask a London policeman what he thinks about fog and if you survive you're lucky. Hyde Park, like this is ideal."

    L/S of picturesque scene in the park in good weather. "...but, when the first blankets of the fog demon descends, familiar places grow dim and distant." L/S of a scene in the park in fog. Two women walk along, one pushing a pram. Two children walk behind them pushing hoops along. Low angle shot of a large sculpture in the park (Boudicca / Boadicea) L/S of Horseguards passing the camera. Shots of the Houses of Parliament (?) and Big Ben in the fog.

    "The sun puts up a brave show for a little while - " M/S part of the Houses of Parliament. "Then the River, another ally of the fog, joins in with its insidious mist." View of the embankment in fog - buses and pedestrians pass the camera. Trafalgar Square in the fog - pedestrians and traffic. The lions and fountain are seen.
