This is a record for the cricket tapes version of G 1728 - 5th Final Fight Test. To be cross referenced with original record. May be incorrect can reference or may be a mute version of 1930s item.
The Oval, Kennington, London. 1930?
Full title reads: "The Fifth - Final - Fight to the Finish Test - opens in perfect weather - England wins the toss - and score 315 for 5 - Sutcliffe playing masterly cricket all day to score 138."
Good natured crowds surround captains as they toss a coin. Players come on to the pitch. Herbert Sutcliffe and Jack Hobbs are amongst players - other players names gratefully received. Various shots of the game from high angle. Player followed across pitch as he leaves game - possibly Sutcliffe. Shots of appreciative crowd. More shots of game - quite a long item for the period. Well shot. Spectators invade the pitch at the end of the game.
Item seems to have been transferred at a slightly slow speed - could be corrected in edit suite.
