    Nurses help to put the thousands of tickets into a massive drum which will mix them up.

    Small rolls of paper are but into a glass tombola drum. Two men read statements.

    Two blind boys with name tags on (Jackie and Paddy) are led onto the stage.

    Another boy called Peter is seated on a chair on the stage. Another boy called Willie reaches into the large drum to extract a winning ticket. Peter spins the small drum and removes a ticket from that. A man in army uniform checks the two tickets.
