    Preston team: "Allan Kelly" should read Alan Kelly. "Ross" is George Ross. "Wilson" is Dave Wilson. "Ashworth" is Alec Ashworth. "Spavin" is Alan Spavin. "Dudd Holden" should read Doug Holden.

    West Ham team: "Bond" is John Bond. "Burkett" is Jack Burkett.

    Worth noting that Boyce's winner came in the 90th minute.
