  • The game was played on 25 April 1936.

    "Archie MacPherson" should read Archie McPherson.

    "Jack Dodds" should read Jock Dodds.

    "Bob Bartley" should read Bob Barclay.

    "Clifford Bastin(?)" - that was his birth name, but he played professionally as Cliff Bastin.

    "Eidris (?) Hapgood" - he was actually christened Edris Hapgood, but played professionally as Eddie Hapgood.

    "Alec Wilson" was better known as Alex Wilson.

    "M/S of newsreel cameramen gathered" - they're at Heston Aerodrome, (mentioned in clip).

    "Various shots as a helicopter takes off" - it's actually a Cierva C30A autogyro, Reg. No. G-ACWZ.

    "M/S of Gracie Fields kicking off a different football match" - that looks to be the charity football match at Upton Park, covered in clip 879.13.
