    Testing.

    Probably filmed at Pathe studios, London.

    A woman walks into a casting director's office then storms out a few moments later, the director emerges with a black eye. M/S of boy having his health tested by a "doctor". Another man looks at a bill he has received and clasps his hand to his head in despair. Man tests for gas with light and causes explosion. Various shots showing a woman's character can be tested by the position of her legs when she sits down. M/S microscope and test tube. A diagram shows how tiny engineering parts can be tested by being projected onto a big screen which enlarges them and shows faults. Various shots showing how to test beer with home-made hydrometer. Man tries it out in his local pub after he pulls his face at the pint he is drinking.
