  • The lady seen here is not "Tatyana Russian" but Tatiana Roussian. Her helicopter is a Mil Mi-1.

    On 27 March 1959 she achieved an altitude record of 14,764 feet. That fact is referenced in this newspaper report, after Roussian's record was broken......
