    MS Three French tank-like vehicles (autochenilles) with caterpillar tracks, being test-driven along French road, with "Expeditions Polaires Francaises" written along side of the tank. MS Tanks moving over rough ground in line ahead and driving up crest of hill. CU Front view tank breasting the hill. CU Tank breasting hill, and slipping back. MS Tanks in line ahead moving over sand dune. CU Tank breasting brow of hill and moving down the other side into sand dunes. Pan. CU Tank breasting brow of hill. MS and CU Tanks moving in single file through wood, (3 shots). CU Tanks moving through woods. (2 shots). MS and CU Tanks racing over sand dunes. MS Tank taking to the water. CU The painter and designer Samivel who is also the expedition cameraman chats to Monsieur Gaillard,who is in charge of the equipment.
