Several shots of people looking at clothes in Portobello Road; a man in a top hat looks through uniforms on a rack outside a shop; people try on hats at a stall as the young boy vendor watches. M/S of a Carnaby Street sign in a shop window display; two long-haired men in suits walk along Carnaby Street; nuns talk in the street. Girls try on hats in Biba; various street scenes show people looking at clothes outside Mates shop; tracking shot along the Kings Road; groovy people abound.

Three hippies (two girls, one boy) sit by the fountain in Trafalgar Square with flowers; a woman in sunglasses (could be Yoko Ono) looks at mathematical equations in a notebook. Cut to C/U of notebook of Marge Ferguson, editor of 'Intro' magazine; she walks along a corridor and enters the Intro office to speak to art editor John Spear. General shots of bustle in the office; a girl takes shorthand notes while talking on the phone; another types; Marge works on a colourful magazine layout; pan to a table full of cosmetics and beauty products.

Mary Quant watches as a young man puts make-up on a girl in Selfridges; he snips off a length of 'Loads of Lash' (false eyelashes in a tube) and puts them on the girl.

Cut to a girl in Hyde Park taking off a paper dress with a large eye printed on it; she lies on a blanket to sunbathe in her bikini. A ginger-haired man nearby (Gillard?) throws his empty carton of drink towards a rubbish bin and misses; he gets up to put the carton in the bin, along with the paper dress that the girl had tossed on the ground. The girl realises this, takes a new dress from a plastic cover in her bag and puts it on; it is covered with a huge Bob Dylan photo.

Cut to poster of Dylan surrounded by other pictures in the offices of 'Intro' magazine; the (unnamed) features editor speaks on the phone to a dolly bird reporter in a Manchester club - The Phonograph; a girl there puts some records on an old-fashioned record-player; couples dance. Another Intro girl reporter interviews Simon Dee. A girl reports back to the office from a telephone in a Newcastle shopping arcade; three girls read The Sun newspaper in the arcade; high angle M/Ss of '60s shop fronts 'Pot' and 'Paraphernalia'; girls look at clothes in a groovy shop; a girl puts a lei (garland) around the neck of a man trying on a poncho while the Intro reporter girl grins and makes notes (like 'very Clint Eastwood', perhaps?).

Various shots show Paul Whitehead and another man painting a crazy design on a car; one bloke wears a T-shirt with an Oxford Circus tube sign design.

Several shots at an archaeological site; young people are seen on this dig at the supposed site of King Arthur's Camelot. Back at the Intro office two people look at a psychedelic 'Dig Camelot' poster, then a photograph from a 'happening'. Cut to similar shot of a man drawing a leaf design around a girl's eye; various shots at this 'happening' in a park organised by Keith Albarn, where druids / hippies dance about to the music of the band '117 Group'. They wear strange, inflatable, painted costumes, and carry a phallic balloon to hole in a screen - oo-er. An Intro reporter and photographer are also on hand; at one point orange smoke covers everyone.

C/Us of signs reading 'Chapel at Rest' above a door and 'Ashes to ashes..' on a coffin; a couple sign in at a desk and go through a wardrobe door into London's Speakeasy Club. Various shots of people dancing to a band called 'Intro'; a girl stubs her cigarette out in a chamber pot ashtray. In the Intro magazine office a girl sits beside a plant in a chamber pot and inspects new shoe styles; other people there pack up work; Marge stamps a bag layout 'OK for press'. The workers meet up in London's Scotch Club to have a drink and dance; DJ David Symonds greets them; the club DJ sits playing the records in a Hansom cab. Lots of dancing shots, intercut with the first issue of Intro coming off the presses.

Several shots follow, in random order, that have been cut from various sequences in the story (neg version only). Notable shots are C/U of false eyelashes being applied and M/Ss of two women modelling 60s fashions in Selfridges department store.
