    Scenic shots of Lapland with Lakes, forests and rivers. Reindeer crossing sign. Reindeer activities, looking for lichens or moss and wandering around. Lapps with wigwam by the side of the road selling skins and reindeer horns. Lapps in their traditional costume in a folk museum settlement, with traditional crafts, overlooking a lake. A hermit fisherman, a Finn, in his boat on a river. A Finn panning for gold in the "River of Love". Fast flowing river and panoramic view across the forests to the lakes. Lapps in traditional clothing sit outside their fine house at Enantekio. A big craft fair at the local town. A man rings a large bell at the Lutheran church as the congregation arrive. A restaurant and hotel on the Arctic Circle. More reindeer and traditional costumes.
    Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland. Town and surrounds, rebuilt after W.W.II. Shots at the Kotiseutumuseo showing traditional life. Kuopio, ski jump (summer no snow) with revolving restaurant. Views of lakes and islands. Timber, logs floating in river, building a log cabin for export. Imatra (?) rapids and church, and Olavinrila (??) a fortress on a lake or river, with a group folk dancing in trad. costumes in front of the castle.
    Savenlinna, Lake boats by the town and a large craft market. Large river/lake boats en route to Punkahrju. Boat travelling shots of scenics and water. Little huts by the lake with locals sunning. Washing carpets in the lake. Shots of the Russian boarder and look out posts, and boarder crossings.
    Tampere, and an extraordinary open air production of a play from W.W.II, "The Unknown Soldier", with a revolving auditorium turning to reveal different battle scenes. The locks on the Saimaa canal. Stone sign "Malkia". The locks partly in Finland and Russia. Boats travelling from Lappeenranta to Leningrad.
    Peikkometsa Troll Forest, where they make Troll models, toys, heads. Kids play with them and are chased by people dressed as Trolls. Very odd.
    Helsinki town and market. Fish selling at the port. Large modern buildings. Statues and trams. The Olympic stadium. Aerial shots of Tapiola. Modern buildings, fountains and squares, all next to water.
