    Inside the submarine we see one of the escapees getting into the ejection position, and putting a hood over his head which completely seals him in a suit. He then climbs up to the escape passage. C/U another escapee pressing release button.

    Exterior shot taken from top of sub showing the escapee emerging in water in inflated suit. The two escapees are helped into dinghies and taken to recovery ship. The first man is Lieutenant Commander Brian Forbes. C/U Forbes. Other escapee is seen climbing up side of rescue vessel and walking on board.
