    Italy.

    Brief aerial shot of a ship about to be launched from a shipyard. Various shots of the crowds and the new ship 'Stockholm' which is destined for the Europe - America route. Men work to free the ship from her shackles prior to the launching. M/S of a sign relating to the ship in Swedish. Brief shot of clergymen, presumably blessing the ship.

    Princess Ingeborg, a relation of the King of Sweden, shakes hands with officials before the launch. L/S of a bottle of champagne smashing against the side of the ship, then the vessel slides down the slipway and into the water. The huge crowds cheer.
