  • ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL RECORD A REEL 1 1940 - 1949. The footage of the 'brass band' playing on St. Paul's Steps is of the band of the Coldstream Guards performing after the Thanksgiving Service held in St. Paul's Cathedral on V.E. Day (Tuesday 8th May 1945). If the rest of the clip is of the same occasion...then this film records various celebrations around the capital (day and night) on that date.
