  • The current date range needs altering, as the film of David and Hjordis Niven comes from their wedding at South Kensington Register Office in 1948.

The film of Moira Shearer and Ludovic Kennedy originates from 1950.

The Danny Kaye and Arthur Askey film originates from their Royal Command performances in 1948.

The Bob Hope and Jack Dempsey film also originates from 1948.

  • Interesting question raised that we've often pondered - do we have the date being when the film was made, or when the footage was filmed?

Any thoughts? At the moment the website's dates reflect when the footage was shot (e.g. with A Day That Shook The World, Hall Of Fame, and Time To Remember), so we've corrected the date range to match your helpful comment.
