    Harringay, London.

    LV McCarthy in light trunks leaves corner. SV Sammy McCarthy opens with left and right hooks which miss Belgian Jean Sneyers. CU both boxers swap blows but timing is out. LV footwork from both men. SV McCarthy misses with a right hook. Sneyers counters with a jab with a left to stomach and chin. CU referee, Koch of Sweden. LV end of round, boxers to corners. SV McCarthy receives attention. SV Sneyers leaving corner, & LV. SV McCarthy again misses with a right hook which sails over Sneyers head. LV Sneyers fights off with a left to chin, they swap blows, tie up and referee tells them to break. They resume and Sneyers misses with a wild left swing. They both go into attack and break off. SV Sneyers covers nicely to take the sting out of a left to his tummy and fights back strongly forcing McCarthy back. SV Sneyers scoring with two handed attack as the bell goes. McCarthy pats Sneyers on head. SV crowd. SV referee not bothering to mark card. SV time keeper and officials. CU bell. LV boxers touch gloves in centre of ring at start of last round. SV Sneyers ties up McCarthy as he rushes in with attack. LV Sneyers lands right to Mac's head. McCarthy fights back gamely but Sneyers again lands blows. They break off and resume when Sneyers lands right to chin and left to body twice. CU crowd. LV McCarthy with left and right fights off attack. They break and slow away and spar for opening until bell goes to end fight. Referee walks over and raises Sneyers hand. SV Jackie Boy (Jack Solomons) applauding. CU Sneyers walks over to embrace McCarthy. SCU both boxers.
