Two Ugandan players jigging up and down before game, pan down to show their bare feet. GV. Crowd. LV. Ugandan goal. Wycombe in black shorts, Uganda in white shorts. At this stage, Ugandans are one down. A corner kick is being taken by Wycombe out on their right wing. Ball comes in the middle and Trott heads it to Paul Bates who heads it past the Uganda defence. Ball in the net. SCU. People clapping. LV. Bates with the ball, running through, beats the advancing goalkeeper and kicks the ball into the net. SV. Crowd. LV. Wycombe on the attack again. Tomlin with the ball. He crosses into the goal mouth. It goes right across the goal. Uganda back tries to clear but Wycombe right winger goes in and slings it back where Bates beats Owiny to it and pushes it inside. He then swivels round and lands it into the net. LV. Crowd slightly applauding. LV. Nafutali standing in his goal. LV. Wycombe on the attack again. Bates kicks the ball just outside the penalty area, Nafutali parries it, but it spins out of his arms and over his head into the net. This ends the first half with the score 7-0. SCU. Crowd. LV. Frank Smith running through, he shoots but goalkeeper makes a good save and kicks it back up-field. SCU. Running barefoot, one of Ugandan players kicks the ball across the Wycombe goal. The player is Kalibbala. LV. Uganda send it across from the right wing where Owiti dashes in and the ball goes up in the air. Owiti who has run on, heads it back into the goal mouth where Seruwagi dashes up, beats the advancing goalkeeper and slams it into the net. Ball in net. Score 9-1. SCU. Clapping crowds. SV. Nafutali waiting in his goal ready for an attack. LV. Smith, having beaten the defence, runs on and taps the ball into the net. Final score 10-1.

STOCK CAR RACING IN FRANCE
Montreuil, France.

At Montreuil, near Paris, stock-car race in progress. SV. Cars going round track. LV. Bunch of cars coming round corner, pan with them as they go down straight. SV. Car going along, knocking down barrels that mark out the track, its bonnet falls off. The car continues and hits another barrel. LV. Two cars in tangle on the outside of the bend, one goes straight over the banking on the side. LV. Another car overturned. LV. Men pushing car upright. SV. Towards, car coming round with only three wheels. SV. Mass of cars coming round the bend. Two go over outside bank. SV. Coming out of a bend, cars racing along. One is racing along top of the bank, comes down and proceeds to knock all the barrels down. SV. Cars towards, come off track. SV. Car comes over bank and off track.

SV. Seixas about to serve. He serves. LV. Rosewall hits ball back, Seixas hits it back over and Rosewall puts it between the Americans. SV. Crowd lightly applauding. SV. Back view, Hoad serving. LV. As an American hits it back, Hoad plays it back. The same American hits it back and Rosewall drops the ball neatly over the net, completely out of their reach. SV. Crowd lightly applauding. SV. Back view, Hoad serves. LV. The ball goes for a scorching ace and the players run towards the net to shake hands together. SV. Crowd. SCU. Rosewall and Hoad holding their Cups.
