The Derby 1963 - top shot of the course. Camera pans to show large crowds. Fairground. Narrator talks of the Cockneys and how they have their own traditions on the big day. Shots of Pearly King and Queen with their pearly family and people eating jellied eels. Short shot of Prince Monolulu and a tick-tack man making signs. Board showing list of starting horses. Athletics at White City - camera pans to follow sprinters. Pole vaulter John Pannell clears the bar. 80 metre hurdles race for women in progress - Pat Nullery of Ruislip wins. Mary Bignal Rand (sp?) wins the long jump. Gordon Pirie is seen winning the 3000 metres.

Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (T.T.) races - various shots of the motorcyclists racing around the track. Gary Hocking from Southern Rhodesia wins the race.

England V. Australia - C/U of the weather vane at Lords Cricket Ground. Various shots of the crowds and of the game in progress. We see Hassett preparing to bat. We also see Benser (?) bowling.

Ascot - various great shots of women in outrageous hats. High angle shot of the royal family arriving in the Royal Coach. The horse race begins and Small Slam ridden by Bobby Elliot overtakes Mustavon and passes the finishing post.

Wimbledon - Christine Truman plays Angela Mortimer. Various shots of spectators and tennis games. Chuck McKinley of America plays Fred Stolly of Australia. Press photographers are seen in the crowd.

Henley Regatta - 1960. Punts and other river boats travel along the Thames. Pleasure boats, rowing boats etc. Diamond Sculls race. Kocerka of Poland races Stewart MacKenzie of Australia. MacKenzie wins. L/S of a race between teams from the National Provincial Bank and South Kensington School.

Bowls - Ireland v Scotland. Various shots of a bowls match and of spectators.

Open Golf Championship - St. Andrews v Birkdale. C/U of golf ball being putted. "The Open Championship" in Scotland - large board with list of competitors' names. Various shots of golfers and spectators. Dai Rees and Harold Hendine are amongst the golfers featured.

British Grand Prix - Silverstone. Shots of cars and spectators. Jim Clark driving a Lotus Climax wins the race.

Cowes Regatta - M/S of the sail of a yacht. High angle panning shot of large number of yachts in the water. M/S of Prince Philip and Uffa Fox in their yacht "Bluebottle". Various yachts pass the camera. M/S of man looking through a telescope.

National Angling Championships - Spalding, Lincolnshire. C/U of fish jumping up and down in a cage fixed to a weighing machine. M/S of fish being weighed. L/S of lots of men sitting on the banks of a river fishing. Various shots of the anglers pulling in their catch.

The Braemar Games 1959 - various shots of the gathering - mass pipe bands, highland dancing, playing bagpipes, wrestling in kilts, tossing the hammer and tossing the caber.

Horse of the Year Show - Empire Pool, Wembley L/S of competitor David Barker riding Mr Softee. He takes several jumps.

Grand National 1963 - Aintree, Liverpool. C/U of bookie with a large cigar. A man places a bet. Various shots of the build up to the race and the race itself. C/U of man looking through binoculars. Horses taking jumps - seen from various angles including below one of the fences. Fred Winter wins on Kilmore.

Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race - Various shots of the crews. Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong Jones follow the race in a motor launch. Camera follows the race as it passes under Hammersmith Bridge. Shot of the crowd.

England v Scotland at Twickenham - Rugby. Various shots of the game including scrum, tackle, spectators etc.

Cup Final 1962 - Spurs v Burnley. Tottenham Hotspurs play Burnley. Shots of the cheering crowds, the football match in progress, a goal scored, Danny Blanchflower receives cup from the Queen. L/S of the team going up to collect their medals. Danny holds the cup aloft. M/S of champagne being poured into the cup in the players' dressing room. Danny drinks from the cup as champagne is poured on his head.
