Introductory intertitle reads: Elizabeth Arden shows easy way to attain that 1932 posture."
C/U of Elizabeth as she says: "The pre-war and Victorian styles had distinctly pre-war and Victorian postures. M/S of four girls standing on a seaside promenade. Two bend their backs so that their stomachs are sucked in, the other two stand with their backs bent backwards so that their stomachs stick out. The girls wear old fashioned costumes.
M/S of girl wearing Victorian style white dress, she waves to a friend who rides towards her on a bicycle. They then pose in a Victorian style posture, holding their hats and arching their backs.
Elizabeth states: "Unfortunately, many women today still have these same old fashioned postures" over shots of girls in swimsuits demonstrating poor posture. C/U of Elizabeth smiling broadly and advising the women in the audience that they can improve their posture by particular exercises.
Various shots of the girls performing elegant stretching exercises on the beach as the waves crash behind them. One girl performs a very graceful headstand on the beach.
Note: the shots of girls posing their poor postures are quite funny. This is presumably Elizabeth Arden the cosmetics queen.
