    Speedway on ice. Moscow, Russia.

    CU Russian speedway competitor putting on his goggles in Sports Arena, Central Stadium, Moscow. SV Man adjusting his goggles. Pan down to wheel of his speedway machine which is covered in spikes. SCU Speedway machine, pan to exhaust.

    SV The machines as the race starts. Tapes go up and bikes are off. SV Pan cycles going round track, which is covered with snow and ice. GV Pan as cycles come round bend and lean over at a very acute angle. GV Pan with bikes as they take bend and come past camera. Camera pans as they take another corner.

    GV Showing track and cycles going round. SCU Pan two cycles going past camera and round bends. SV As cycles come round bend and flash past camera. SV As bikes flash past flag at finish of race. SCU Three speedway riders at finish of match. Winner being Vladimir Smirnov from Leningrad. (F/G)
