    Intertitles read: "Speed ! - the eternal striving to go one faster that the last one, whether in cars, planes, or trains.

    Railroads. Very good train shots. Story entitled Speed & Safety. Titles re the importance of both on the modern railway; footage mostly tracking shots from train. Opens with shot of train passing. Tracking shot looking straight ahead approaching overpass. CU worker turning valve. Train approaching and passing very near camera. Shots from top of locomotive; various angles. Inc. smoke coming from smokestack. Similar shots with train slowing down; then stopping. Engineer looks up.
