  • The 1938 Junior Car Club 200 Mile Race on the Campbell Circuit at Brooklands took place on the 27th August 1938.

    The winner, Johnny Wakefield (scion of the family that started Castrol) was killed in an air accident in 1942, while serving in the Fleet Air Arm in WW2.
