LV Uruguay attacking. The ball is crossed to Borges. Cunningham misses his tackle and Borges turns and fires in a terrific rising shot to score Uruguay's first goal. SV scoreboard 1-0. SV Scotland attacking, keeping ball down on ground. SV crowd. SV Allen Brown dashing through after ball, he collides with goalkeeper who has come out to meet him. The ball runs loose but no Scotsman is within distance, as Uruguay defender dashes across to clear. SV Uruguay player beats McKenzie and Uruguay go on the attack. SV crowd. SV Uruguay scores second goal. Ball comes through to unmarked Miguez who beats the advancing Martin with a terrific shot. Score 2-0. SV crowd cheering. LV Uruguay kick off second half, Scotland intercept the ball and work the ball up into their opponent's half. SV McKenzie receives and sends the ball through to Mochan. SV Mochan shoots but the goalkeeper manages to block the ball, and as it trickles towards the goal he is able to hurl himself back and stop it just short of the goal. SV crowd. SV Uruguay work ball towards the Scottish end. LV goalkeeper Martin carries a hard shot and does a juggling act to whip the ball from the toes of Uruguay's forward who was dashing in, and clears up field. SV Mochan running with ball, he passes out to Hamilton but the speedy Uruguay defenders intercept and their own team attacks. CU Uruguay supporters in crowd. LV Uruguay's third goal - Borges dashing in from the wing. He fires in a shot from a narrow angle to score. Team-mate runs over and holds him up.

SV scoreboard: 3-0. SV Scotland attack. Referee opens legs to let ball run between them as Scotland bear down on opponent's goal. SV Scottish forwards loose the ball and it is cleared from the Uruguay goal area. LV other end, Uruguay harass Scotch defenders, by skilful ball play, a back heel quick running into position and another back heel which surprises goalkeeper Martin, who fumbles the ball, but manages to hang on and clear up field. SV Scotland still trying, Brown receives and dashes through. SV tall Uruguay defender obstructs Brown. The referee whistles up for a free kick, defender appeals and waves his arms about. SV Uruguay supporters turning back on goal. SV Docherty takes free kick. Uruguay goalkeeper dives to save. SV crowd. LV Uruguay now walking through the game. Pass ball from man to man as they work it up field. Abadie receives. SV Abadie running towards goal. He dribbles round Martin and shoots ball into empty net, leaving Martin sitting on ground.
