Start of the international football match between Scotland and Yugoslavia. SV. The two captains shake hands and then Yugoslav captain Stankovic passes over a bouquet of flowers to George Young and flag, and George Young passes something over in return. SV. Massed crowd. GV. Kick off, Scotland in the dark shirts kicking from right to the left. The ball is passed back to McColl who receives and sends the ball down the right wing to start Scottish attack. CU. Boy in crowd. SV. Yugoslav penalty area, ball comes in the middle where the goalkeeper Vladimir Beara and Lawrie Reilly jump for it. Beara punches the ball away. LV. Yugoslav moving with the ball, Vukas in possession - he slips it to a left winger Zebec. SV. Scottish goal area, the ball is shot from the left wing and Younger brilliantly passes the ball. Hewie kicks the ball over the line to safety for a corner. CU. Man in crowd. SV. Scottish goal area, the ball comes in from the corner kick where its heads up and Tom Younger takes the ball safely in his arms and kicks up field. SV. Scottish player slips the ball back to Johnny Hewie who kicks it up field. SV. Yugoslav goal area, ball coming across the right wing and Jackie Mudie gets his head to the ball and nods it just inside the port - for a nice goal. Beara stands there moaning at one of his backs. Scotland 1 Yugoslavia 0. GV. Massed crowd cheering. LV. Scotland on the move again. Fernie with the ball and Petakovic robs him. Belin takes possession and goes up field to start Yugoslavia on the move with the ball - he kicks up-field. CU. Man in crowd. SV. Yugoslav sweep in with the ball but George Young beats Petakovic to the ball to save them breaking through. CU. Screaming man in crowd. SV. Scottish goal area, Yugoslavs on the move again. Yugoslavian footballer with the ball, he shoots and Younger takes it beautifully and starts to clear. GV. Massed crowd. SV. Scot with ball. He beats Stankovic and crosses the ball into the goal area where Beara comes out and collects comfortably and kicks up field. GV. Midfield play, Yugoslavia on the move.

Ognjanov slips the ball to a colleague who touches it across to Zebec. Zebec moves towards the Scottish goal and slips across to a colleague. GV. Scottish goal mouth, somebody shoots and it his foot of the Scottish goal post and runs out to the right wing. CU. People in crowd. SV. Scot with the ball, he is being tackled and loses it. He turns and looks at the referee appealingly. GV. McColl taking the free kick and he kicks it into the goal area. SV. Mudie heads it to Hugh Baird who heads it towards goal and it hits the crossbar and comes bouncing out. Baird runs back and slams it past Beara for the second goal, pan to happy players. Scotland 2, Yugoslavia 0. SV. Massed cheering crowd. SV. Scot cutting in, man tries to push it into the middle but a defender's leg stops it and Scot gets it again. This time he pushes it past Beara into an open space where Scottish forward with an open goal at his mercy misses his kick and Tasic kicks the ball up field to safety. SCU. Cheering boy. SV. Yugoslav goal area, Scotland moving in again. Scot beats Kovic and shoots but Beara scrambles onto the ball and clutches it safely to him and then gets up. GV. Beara with the ball, runs and kicks up field with safety. Final score Scotland 2, Yugoslavia 0.
