Hello all - myself and a group of likeminded others have at this time have gained ownership of the Elsecar low colliery site shown in this footage. If anyone has any relevant photos or other film footage of the site we would appreciate copies as it is our intention to preserve the site as the most intact mine remaining in the Barnsley coal field. Please check out Facebook, Twitter and Google + for information - friends of hemingfield colliery or hemingfield colliery (twitter) - kind regards Glen
