Start of the Scottish FA (Football Association) Cup, 5th round football match between Heart of Midlothian (Hearts) and Glasgow Rangers. GV. Kick off. Rangers have partially hooped stockings. The ball is passed to Hugh Baird who sends a long one up-field, but it is stopped by Mackay. Mackay sends it out to right winger Young who receives, but he is tackled by Baird. Ball goes loose and is kicked up-field by Davies of the Rangers. CU. Man in crowd with bottle. SV. Rangers sweeping down with ball, Scott flicks it back to another Rangers player who centres across the Hearts' goal. Goalkeeper Brown takes the ball out of the air away from the advancing Murray and clears up-field. LV. Hearts attacking. Wardhaugh receives a ball from a pass and pushes it through to another Hearts player. LV. Goalkeeper waiting in his goal. GV. Alfie Conn runs through with the ball, gets past George Young and pushes it out to Young on the right wing who runs in and shoots across the face of the goal. CU. Man holds his head. SV. Bauld racing through with the ball, but he is robbed and the ball is pushed back to George Young who kicks away. CU. Man in crowd. LV. Hearts goal. Ball coming in, Murray and Brown jump for it and punches it away. Another player runs up and completes appearance. GV. Bob Shearer, Ranger's right back, sends a long one into the Hearts' penalty area and Murray cottons onto it, but he is pulled down by Glidden and the Rangers are awarded a penalty. CU. Boys cheering. LV. Hubbard takes a spot kick. Ball in net. Rangers 1 - Hearts 0. GV. Pan, cheering crowd. SV. McColl takes throw in and Ronnie Simpson gives it back to him. McColl kicks up-field. CU. Cheering woman. LV. The ball enters the net scored by Murray for Rangers' second goal. Camera pans from Murray to ball in net. GV. Crowd cheering. CU. Men cheering. LS. McColl moves forward with the ball to start another Ranger attack. LV. Ball comes across into the Hearts goal mouth, Brown grabs it but he drops it and it goes over the line into the goal for Rangers. Rangers 3 - Hearts 0. GV. Cheering crowd. Half time.

GV. Rangers attacking. A long ball from the right wing is kicked in and Brown leaps and grabs the ball away from the waiting Murray. He runs and kicks up-field. LV. Rangers goal, a left winger comes running into picture, shoots across goal and a Hearts player Wardhaugh shoots. Ball hits the cross bar leaving goalkeeper sprawling. Young gets head to a low ball and heads it and it hits the base of the post and goes behind. CU. Woman in crowd eating. LV. Baird with the ball, fires a long one up-field. CU. Man in crowd. LV. Simpson runs in and hits a scorcher into the net, to give Rangers their fourth goal. GV. Players running back congratulating. Final score Glasgow Rangers 4, Hearts 0.
