Start of the Amateur Football Cup Final between Bishop Auckland and Wycombe Wanderers at Wembley Stadium, London. GV. Wycombe kick-off. Bishops wear the white shirts. Wycombe send a long ball up field where it is intercepted by a Bishop back and goes towards the touchline where Marshall beats Frank Smith to it and kick up field to set Bishop moving. SV. Wycombe pushes it out to right winger Worley who receives. He is challenged, makes a bad pass and Bob Hardisty runs onto it and sends a long one up the middle. GV. Russell has the ball, he is going through and he shoots - ball in net and Bishops are one up. SV. Cheering crowd. SV. Bishops on the move again, down the right wing and cross it into the Wycombe goal. GV. Wycombe goal area, the ball comes across, Billy Russell shoots but is blocked and comes out. Another Bishop's man shoots. It comes out loose and is kicked up field and out of danger. CU. Wycombe supporter in crowd, young boy with funny hat. SV. Bishop's goal area, Smith has just won a tussle and he is challenged by Marshal, beats him, and shoots. Ball in net for equaliser. GV. Cheering crowd. SV. Bishop's goal under pressure again. The ball comes into goal area, Harry Sharratt collects and is continually harassed and pushed by Wycombe forward as he gets away with it. CU. Boy in crowd shouting "Leave him alone!" GV. Bishops on the move, player pushes a long way to right wing. SV. Towards, Bradley running in, crosses into goal area where Mike Wicks misses his kick and Derek Lewin taps the ball past Sharratt - ball in net. Bishop 2, Wycombe 1. GV. Crowd. SV. Play in midfield. Geoff Truett receives and pushes it through to Tomlin who receives and pushes it up towards the Bishops goal. SV. Sharratt waiting in his goal, starts to advance. LV. Cliff Trott running along with the ball pushes inside where Worley starts to go through and though challenged, he gets his foot to it. Sharratt dives spectacularly and pushes it aside but Trott follows up and tries to get it back but his shot is blocked away for the corner.

CU. Men in crowd holding heads. SV. Towards, Cliff Trott dashing in again, crosses the ball and Sharratt collects beautifully and breaks down another attack. He runs and starts to clear up field. SV. Midfield play. Corbett Cresswell running with the ball and despite being tackled runs on and is in a long run up-field. GV. Wycombe goal, Hardisty with the ball, running into the penalty area, crosses it where a Bishops man heads it. The goalkeeper is beaten but Frank Westley is there to head away. CU. Woman in crowd shouting. GV. Bishops having been awarded a corner, Warren Bradley takes it into the goal area. All heads up, and it goes loose. Jimmy Nimmins intercepts it and is challenged by Tomlin, but it is hooked to Bradley who collects, runs in and shoots left footed. Ball in net - Bishop 3, Wycombe 1. GV. Pan, happy players. SV. Cheering crowd. AS. Nimmins is receiving the cup from Lord Mayor of London. SV. Nimmins receives Cup and starts to walk away. CU. Cameramen including Ken Goddard. SV. & SCU. Bishops team with Nimmins on shoulders holding up Cup. Bishop Auckland wins the Amateur Cup for the third year in succession.
