US soldiers in training. Location of event unknown.

World War One; sports. US soldiers boxing; wrestling; etc. Pan across field where a lot of men in loose pants & sweatshirts are boxing in pairs; hopping; dodging around; throwing punches; many others stand in BG. Sort of like a combination of an exercise drill and a mass fight. Then pairs of men straddle a fence (well really just the top board on top of posts) and box in that position; trying to knock each other off. Soldiers wrestle on a mat on the grass as other American troops sit & stand in BG; clapping and cheering; a referee stands on the mat. CU the wrestlers in action.

Verbal warfare at its best. Here are some of history's greatest retorts and snarling insults. These people certainly didn't mince their words!
