    M/S mounted soldiers as they ride abreast past the starters box, and lead their horses round the paddock lined by onlookers. They are wearing jockey colours as they mount their horses. M/S of horses starting. Shots from side during the race, of horses jumping fences, - some fall. One rider falls and remounts. The race finishes, and the winning horse and jockey are led to the paddock.
