    Various shots show policemen of the Thames department of the Metropolitan Police getting into frogmen outfits on a police launch. Commentator explains this is a special demonstration by the 'Under Water Search Unit' for the press and newsreels. The skin divers get into the River Thames and go underwater.

    Policeman on bank paying out rope. Bubbles rise to the surface of the water. A crowd of people watch. A policeman on the bank lifts an old bicycle frame that one of the divers has brought to the surface and looks for identification marks on it. Another skin diver climbs out of the water carrying a flat tin box.
