No title. Introductory intertitle reads: "What with all the walks and walkers in the Big City, it's tough to be a pup nowadays - " followed by a puppy's eye view of the feet of a large number of pedestrians.

Various shots of feet and legs (mostly women's) as people walk past the camera. A lovely old pram is pushed past the camera. "All sorts of striders - some jaunty - some jogging - old and young, confident and nervous, and all queer-looking under our slow Camera - " Slow motion footage of women's feet. Nice shoes and stockings! A child in ankle socks walks close to the camera. Various people walk past. M/S of a few flamingos walking along in a zoo enclosure - presumably as a contrast.

Intertitle reads: "A human river, a living striding threat to every pup without ears and eyes on every whisker." More legs and feet. C/U of a man's feet. He puts a tiny bird on the ground in front of him. He puts another down - they look like mechanical birds.

Note: nice to show everyday shoe fashions of the time. Might be good to illustrate commuting or something similar.
