    Ascot, Berkshire.

L/S of a mother and daughter standing in the garden of a nice big house (Mrs Peter Cadbury and Felicity). They are attaching bags to the back of a donkey - it is a pet which they use to take the "donkey work" out of shopping. The donkey is called Bambi. Various shots of mother, daughter and Bambi as they leave the garden to go on a shopping trip.

They walk down a country road with Bambi on a leash. In Ascot High Street the shopkeepers treat Bambi like an ordinary customer. Various shots of Bambi being given things to eat by shopkeepers. The greengrocer gives him a carrot (of course). Potatoes are poured into the baskets on Bambi's back. The butcher puts a parcel of meat into Bambi's basket.

The Narrator states that Bambi with his good nature and dignity is a good advert for having a donkey as a pet.

Note: Mrs Peter Cadbury's Christian name is Benedicta. Greengrocer is Mr Hall, lady giving Bambi a carrot is Mrs Stubbs and butcher is Mr Saunders.

Orange markings on neg - will be retransferred
