The woman asks if they can leave the clock, but her husband says no because it has a glass face, he gets out the book of guidelines, "Shelter at Home" and points to the relevant passage. The fish tank is moved. L/S of street and houses where rooms can be turned into shelters. General ideas are given as to how to turn a room into a refuge room, including covering the windows. Various shots of a new steel table with wire mesh sides, people can shelter in it to protect themselves from falling roofs. Various shots showing it can be covered with a cloth and used as a tea table as well. A man puts up timber framework capable of supporting a falling upper floor. C/U of a man holding the book "Shelter at Home" and telling us where we can buy it.
